Referring Doctors
Dr.
Lillis appreciates the trust and confidence you place when you refer
your patients for implant and complex restorative dental care treatments.
We are extremely efficient at completing seamless transitions from your
office to ours so that your patients feel like our office is just an
extension of yours.
To optimize the transition, we recommend utilizing the following when referring a patient:
- The more information we have about the nature of the referral the better. Please include tooth numbers and / or quadrants associated with the patient's treatment needs (Referral Slip). Also, please advise us of what you've already completed and what you might want to do in the future so that we can reinforce your recommendations and be consistent in our treatment planning.
- A Comprehensive Exam
- A Full Mouth Series of Digital Photographs as well as any adjunctive X-Rays that have not been furnished
- Diagnostic Casts, if needed
Also, please advise on the Referral Slip of any motivations or concerns that might be helpful to your patient. Their current x-rays will be very helpful for us (any within the last year). We suggest a Panoramic X-Ray and Full Mouth Series for all reconstructive cases.
- A consultation to go over findings and the recommended treatment plans and options. During this time, our Treatment Coordinator will go over financial options to help our patients achieve their dental needs while making it fit their budget.
- We have found some referrals can get "lost" in the transition from your office to our office, resulting with confusion and appointment abandonment. If you call us while your patient is in your office, our friendly staff can begin the referral process immediately and most efficiently.
If you are ready to move forward with a referral at this time, please start here.
*Note: We love the innovations of the web, our web site and e-mail. However, electronic transmissions (including e-mail, web site submission forms, and faxes) are never 100% reliable. We always recommend you make time for an immediate follow up phone call to confirm receipt of your e-mails (unless we have replied "received"), submitted forms (unless you have received a "received" e-mail) or faxes.
Thank you for entrusting your patients with us!
