Taryn Newsom

Taryn joined Overland Park Dental Design in January 2024 as our Patient Care Coordinator. She quickly embraced her role in the dental field and has taken the lead in improving our marketing, social media, and website presence. She enjoys being part of a close-knit team and loves seeing the positive impact our care has on patients every day.

In her role, Taryn coordinates with surgeons, periodontists, and endodontists to ensure every patient has a smooth and stress-free experience. She also assists patients with scheduling, insurance, and financial arrangements. Taryn graduated from the University of Missouri–Kansas City with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is passionate about continuing to grow within the dental field.

When Taryn is away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her two shepherds and tracking down great Mexican food spots. She and her husband Richard love to travel together, often on their Harleys, and enjoy getting out to explore whenever they can.
